Updated workflow

As I get ready for this summer’s motorcycle adventure across Europe, I’ve added a new piece of gear that I’m genuinely excited about: the Unify UT2 Mobile NAS. Built for rugged conditions and mobile workflows, it promises to change the way I manage photos and footage on the road.

Whether I’m riding through the Alps, exploring backroads in Italy, or chasing sunsets along the French Riviera, one thing remains consistent — I shoot a lot of photos and video. Until now, managing all that content meant juggling SD cards, external drives, and long upload sessions once I returned home. But this year, things will be different.

The UT2 is a compact, durable storage device that supports CFexpress, SD, and microSD cards. It’s built like a tank, with a rubberized shell that can handle the bumps and dust of long-distance riding. Most importantly, it functions as a mobile NAS, allowing me to offload and back up media directly on the go — no laptop required.

With its fast transfer speeds and wireless access, I’ll be able to organize, preview, and even share selected shots while still on the road. It opens up a whole new workflow: capturing the moment, backing it up instantly, and even posting highlights in near real-time. That’s a game-changer for both storytelling and peace of mind.

If all goes as planned, this setup will let me spend less time managing files — and more time riding, exploring, and capturing the adventure. Stay tuned for updates from the road. The UT2 is coming with me every step of the way.
