TMC jubileumstur til Vestkapp
In June 2024, Touring MC Orkladal celebrated its anniversary with a spectacular three-day motorcycle tour through some of Norway’s most striking coastal and fjord landscapes. The journey featured two overnight stays and a festive anniversary dinner, with each day’s route shown in different colors on the attached map.
Day 1 – Orkanger to Innvik
The tour began in Orkanger, heading south through beautiful inland mountain passes and valleys. We passed through Dombås and Strynefjellet before descending into the Nordfjord region. The day ended in the charming village of Innvik, nestled by the fjord, where we spent the first night surrounded by steep mountains and mirror-like water.
Day 2 – Innvik to Ulsteinvik (via Vestkapp and Runde)
This day was the tour’s absolute highlight. We followed scenic coastal roads toward Vestkapp, mainland Norway’s westernmost point, offering dramatic views of the Atlantic Ocean. From there, we rode to the island of Runde, known for its wild cliffs and seabird colonies. After soaking in the coastal beauty, we continued to Ulsteinvik for our second overnight stay – and celebrated the club’s anniversary with a well-deserved festive dinner.
Day 3 – Ulsteinvik to Orkanger
On the final day, we took a more direct route home. Crossing fjords and riding through varied terrain, we made our way back to Orkanger, tired but deeply satisfied. The tour combined incredible riding, unforgettable views, and great company – a perfect way to mark Touring MC Orkladal’s milestone.
